What is the Mustache Maniacs Film Co. Cinematic Universe?

The Mustache Maniacs Film Co. Cinematic Universe was created as a thought experiment to see how films from unrelated genres could coexist together in one shared universe, such that genres could theoretically be combined together into larger stories. Today, this cinematic universe contains almost every Mustache Maniacs Film Co. movie, short story, comic, game, and more.

Why do I have to sign a NDA?

In order to maintain the integrity of Mustache Maniacs Film Co. Cinematic Universe, we have created a story bible that covers everything that has been established so far. A writer for us would have full access to this story bible to help in writing. However, there are details in the story bible that refer to upcoming projects, something that we have kept behind closed doors. By signing the NDA, you agree to not disclose this information on our official wiki or anywhere else.

How often would I be collaborating with other writers?

That depends. Sometimes, writers will be asked to create their own stories to be submitted and evaluated, while other projects will request that multiple writers work together. This will be handled on a case-by-case basis, and we recommend that the writers keep in touch with one another by e-mail.

How would I be able to change the official canon?

There are a few ways. The first would, of course, be to have your own story released and canonized. However, if there is something in the story bible that you feel needs to be changed, it will need to be evaluated by the leaders of the story team before it is approved. The story bible is updated once a year on January 1.
